As an example, I have a few classes which accept a Transport interface (for emails), and the transport class is defined in my app's settings. It would be nice if I didn't need to add definitions for each class which uses it

@bwoebi Oh man, setting a class name in a config, and aliasing the interface to that class, then sharing an instance of that class. It all works! This is amazing.
I don't think we can wait for the kind of increase you are looking for before we say that something has changed ... while the media report that IS are loosing ground, they are not telling you why they are loosing ground, it looks fiesable to me that they are loosing ground because they are concentrating on dissemination of their ideology and it is working, reporting that IS are loosing the fight only serves to fuel the fire ...
to be honest, I am much less concerned about any actual attacks, no matter how despicable and horrible, than about the impact they have on society. The rise of populist and autocratic leaders in recent years is a direct consequence.
@Gordon so, would be better if media would not report much about the incidents and make it as important as the fact that some prominent person (not royal :-P) got a baby?

Terrorist deaths are an only so tiny fraction of unexpected deaths you can experience.
Also, media is part of the problem why islamic motivated acts even happen … they - for some part - do it because of the exposure. To inflict pressure… To watch the world burn?

yeah politicians and their children were murdered, it was horrible ...
there was always a solution to those political problems ... these aren't political problems ... you don't get the bravery required to kill 100 people and yourself from your politics ...
It wasn't terrorism in the classical sense maybe, but that doesn't make it any better. It's just due to globalization that today the conflicts are exported to other countries.
@NikiC nope, I dont know whos behind the site and which political beliefs they hold. I only chose it to express how easy it is to find contradicting numbers. I dont claim they are correct.

does anyone know why my env vars in /etc/bashrc are not picked up when I do docker run but work perfectly when executing the same script docker run does while logged into the container?
@Raj you will need to intercept the onsubmit event and remove them from the payload. that mean in javascript. it doesnt matter where in your html this is located.
@MidoriKocak interfaces specify a contract. you specify any Item needs to have a findItemById(). Any object implementing this interface can then be used like an Item. if the method names would be flexible, you couldnt know like what they could be used.
@MidoriKocak if you want your Entities to be findable by ID, but not write an interface for each Entity, consider making it interface Findable { public function findById($id); }. However, when you do that, you will lose the return type

@littlepootis first off how do you explain random fire brusting from the ground. Second of all , if you look at that fire up close you can see that it was photoshoped
@Jean-philippeEmond you should really try it. it gives you lots of confidence when changing your code and it saves quite a lot of time over manually testing whether your app still works. also, it will make you find bugs early.
@Jean-philippeEmond you can test database code with phpunit. but its not pretty, if you are just starting out, I'd suggest to go with easier code than that
