we are supposed to be able to have objects out of the store, but I have tried it before and it went wrong

we're also supposed to be able to have objects without a class entry in the class table

I am using the top answer in stackoverflow.com/questions/4629022/… to add data to my MySQL database, however it is not adding it to the DB. I checked $dbh->errorInfoand it gives me the code 00000 which is supposed to mean everything worked successfully. Does anyone have an idea of why it wouldn't add it to the mySQL database?

I am trying to add 2000+ entries that have 13 values each.. is that possible to do with one PDO statement?

@PureRhymerOrganization by which keyword you want to be able to search your records ? and what do you want to return ? Users ?

because you use a wildcard like search

LIKE %word% basically say that whatever is in before or after 'word' doesn't matter @PureRhymerOrganization

To find names beginning with b:

mysql> SELECT * FROM pet WHERE name LIKE 'b%';

is that what your are asking ?

I want to return the query depending what data in school for example if the data of COLUMN MODE in USER TABLE is private I want it to search only in PRIVATE TABLE and if its public it only returns the data in PUBLIC TABLE

@Valentincognito yes i know that if my keyword is %mode% it display any data that has mode in its name but i need it to search depends if what the COLUMN MODE in USER TABLE if the data is PRIVATE i want it only find all %mode% in PRIVATE TABLE only and dont find in PUBLIC MODE

and if the COLUMN MODE in USER TABLE is PUBLIC then it will only find all %mode% in PUBLIC TABLE only

It is quite difficult to understand what your are trying to achieve but what don't you then join your public or private tables based on your keyword ? if($keyword=='private'){ $this->db->join("private","private.id = user.id","LEFT");}else if($keyword=='public'){$this->db->join("public","public.id = user.id","LEFT");}

if people cannot fully understand what you are trying to achieve it is difficult to help, you know your project well because you developed it but we don't and you have to imagine that you have to explain your problem to people with very little knowledge of what you are trying to do

for starter you should show us a few more rows and fields of your tables
