Well you could use Amp but you'd have to implement the FTP protocol yourself. And I'm pretty sure no one wants to do that :)

you may for example implement a separated daemon

that would proxy requests to a remote FTP

or even act as an application server with a protocol in your DSL

If I could have a plugin that would maintain an FTP connection pool and give a each script an identifier/index to the script's connection that would be great. But Oh well. I guess I'll just have to re-connect upon each script execution.

They get these after they're given a short HTML/CSS/JS exercise where the emphesis is on the HTML/CSS side of things. After they finish these they get asked what they thought about the questions and if/when they'd find the patterns/code useful in actual scenarios.

@LeviMorrison The interviewee has already shown they're capable of building a basic html/css/js app. They're now required to implement a design pattern showing control more control of JavaScript and then required to discuss it in detail (that is, explain why they think it's useful).

@BenjaminGruenbaum JS questions seem ok. They are simple enough for anyone with appropriate skillset to complete and will give good source for determining the practices the interviewee uses

as how html / css, I can give you some examples ( if you give me 5 minutes to dig them up )
