Inkscape keeps crashing on me, I've downgraded, upgraded and it wont let me do anything crashes the moment I click inside the window. I have 4 tiny icons I need converted to SVG, not embedded image in SVG, but made into scalable vector by tracing the bitmap. I was hoping someone would be kind enough to do it for me, or possible give me an alternative to Inkscape for Linux.

Q: .height() function showing wrong value when set to auto

I have run into this problem when I am using jquery.load on a div (whose height is 0px and overflow:hidden) to load in content to that div then do a quick jquery.css to change it's height to auto and then use the .height() function to get the value of it's auto height so when I animate it, I know...

Please tell me, I would love to know so I can begin steal everyone's logins, empty out their bank accounts etc as such a thing would allow me to put a hidden iframe to any site on my website where I could then access the content of said iframe and steal cookies, personal information etc. I'd like to get to work on this so the faster you tell me the sooner I can start.

Unless you control the other domain you can't change the policy so another domain can access it's contents.

@tereško If the error conditions are more "complex" they should obviously not happen in a setter (there are some exceptions I suppose).

@Jack as i see it , the cases where validation is simple are usually the same cases when it is more pragmatic to opt for active record implementation

the both subset overlap a lot

and same way as with AR - the cases when in real world it is better to use them are quite few in complex applications
