I tried using Solr's Suggester component but it gives exception Unknown Search Component: spellcheck. I am using solr version 3.6. I made changes in solrconfig.xml so it looks like this

It is a common misconception that the M in MVC is just about the database. MVC's main aim is to separate the presentation layer from the remaining application in a way that M does not know about VC.
V and C form the UI, an outer layer by which users can interact with your application. C handles ...
@Gordon did i understand it right? Model is something like core, application should run with only model even on an imaginery UI. V and C is UI part that separated from application's main works, they just help model to interact from users.
Now this is strange. I'm starting with a jquery to vanilla converter. And all browsers so far are faster on the jquery object except for the android browser :P
@Malixxl or you could just follow the Fowler definition of MVC and dont care about the various differences which are all just implementation centric quibble

How do you handle a situation where an object doesn't know what object it needs until part way through its lifecycle? Obviously injecting every possible dependency it might need is wasteful.
But I'd have in the past just instantiated the instance of the object I needed within the class when it became clear what it needed. I know that's really bad but that's what I'd have done in the old pre-DI days.
What's the best approach to doing that in a DI-friendly way?

@GordonM Yes, you should inject a factory. If the object to be created is one of a wide range of potential types you may want to reconsider how you've designed the class that requires the factory (as it's likely violating the SRP). What you don't want is a factory that can create everything. The factory should be targeted to the specific type of objects it creates.
@GordonM , yeah , you should inject either factory (if you need different types of objects ) or a builder ( if you want same type of object but with different setup )

math function is just an example can be anything else
i just marvel at the variable named $txt6a .. you just can tell by looking at it that there is at least 5 other $txt.. variables and at least on $txt6b
@Malixxl , this seems like a very simplified case ( you would not use MVC usually for it) , but yes, all the logic goes in the model layer , but the computation and fetching of data happens in separate parts of Model layer

i mean with that was, if a variable1 and variable2 need multiply to run application this is business logic and should be on model, but if it is about user interface and not related to user should be on controller.
hmm we can say controller is just a something like connector.
@Malixxl , if you need to multiply two variables in MVC (which would be an overkill) , then the the Controller would pass variable1 and variable2 to the appropriate Domain Object , and then bind this object to a view .. then the View would request getResult() from the object , and decide whether it needs to display the data in template for simple or imaginary numbers
in this example , db wouldnt be even required
thing is , you basically have Domain objects and DataMappers ... datamapper can save information from and retrieve into a domain object
but it is not mandatory the the data source is a database
the datamapper can be just working with a REST API (like twitter)
the Domain Object does not give a flying f*ck where , how or even if the information gets stored
Was just thinking about the Resource. As it is rather like the model and controller being combined into a single object it will need to know how to validate different modes of input.
I guess giving it a ValidatorFactory and letting it ask that for the one it needs for a given task is the way to go
the view just asks 10 items from the things im model later , because view IS aware that page can contain no more then 10 items (and if there are no items , view needs to show template which contains "no items here" template)
@vascowhite Yeah, The RMR concept seems to basically abandon the idea that all domain objects should know nothing about how they use and acknowledges that directly addressable business objects should take on some of the responsibilities you'd normally assign to a controller instead. It's a way of thinking that takes a bit of getting used to after doing lots of MVC
I have spent the whole weekend trying to get this to connect, nishikigoi.co.uk and the only different messages i can get it is if u use the root login then it says it can connect to the server and if i use a specific account it cant connect to the database. what could cause this?
did the update change privileges, did you verify that the user, which the joomla install needs, still exists and has the correct privileges on the joomla database?
If i config the site to use the root user it tells me it cant connect to the server, but if i use another account set up for a database it tells me it cant connect to the database
