I just got a trollish sounding email from the author of an algorithm that I used in my Pi program. She's demanding me that I change the name to the name that she gave it instead of the name that everyone else in the world calls it... sigh
I'll ignore the email for now and see what she does. If she can get most of the other resources to change the name, then I'll change it on my website as well.
The email is extremely arrogant which is why I thought it was a troll at first - until I cross-checked the email address.

it's not "strangely" harder, it's pretty obviously harder
FPS AI is probably the easiest AI to implement and fake
as long as enemies are even remotely using basic tactics like taking cover and you hear them talk to each other (i.e. the "faking" part) they look legit

with how players suddenly thought the AI improved significantly and was smarter after the devs only added voiceovers to them (e.g. "Taking cover!" "I'm hit!")
@LightnessRacesinOrbit well the law in your country says that it really doesn't matter how unreasonable it is, if someone's offended, knock it off, like that guy in the UK who got put in jail for singing "kung fu fighting" because an oriental walked by and called the police
Seriously though, I think laws like that pretty much mean you don't have freedom of speech in the UK. Freedom of speech, but not if the government thinks it's offensive. And no before legal illiterates open their mouth, in the US it is perfectly legal to yell fire in a crowded theater.
