Happens ... once I tried to log on to a bank account(my dads account which I have access to), I tried three time, then the account was locked ... I used it quite often before then. A few days later I found out from my dad, I found out, it wasn't the password that was wrong, it was the account number ... I locked someone else out of their bank account!

Your brain may remember the keypress sequence on the pad while not retaining the corresponding number.

It may be bad security, but I always calculate PINs from the card number using the same mathematical operations. As long as I can get access to a calcuator, I can work out my PIN.
