@BartoszKP It does seem to address it quite directly. You create combining mark stacks because Unicode permits them to stack on top of each other, so you just stick in a bunch of combining marks and there you go.

I don't really see how Jukka's answer is different except it seems more Standardese.

It's a common pattern. I re-create some paths as root, then the webserver can't write to that dir anymore. chown fixes it, but I need a way to get the initial permissions always right..
