@wing Instead of allocating each row separately, consider using a single allocation for your entire matrix, and converting a 2D address to a linear address in operator[]. Although it uses vector instead, the general idea is shown here: stackoverflow.com/a/12009991/179910. Converting to use new[] and delete[] is fairly trivial.

"vegetarian" is quite a broad term. some eat fish. some just cut down on meat rather than giving it up entirely. I don't think you'd see a vegetarian who didn't call themselves vegan who cared much about eating yeast products

Strict vegans normally won't eat anything that's derived (directly) from animals. Yeast are fungi, so they're not part of the animal kingdom, and therefore fall within vegan requirements. There are stricter classes that (for example) won't kill living vegetables either though. They probably wouldn't eat anything with yeast either.
