Actually I found the issue, in chrome and IE and firefox, all 3 seam to have different width properties...

Do you see that theres space between the blue background and the input box? I would want to remove it in all browsers

No It didn't work :(
What's happening is that the background of headmenus, when I play with its width, I can make sure it touched the input text box but when I switch browsers I need to reedit the width property
