The bookshelf package is really cool!

@samcarter_is_at_topanswers.xyz but the implementation is quite odd. Why should one create tons of small files for every font one?

@UlrikeFischer Oh, that sounds not so convenient... On one of the computing clusters I work with the minimum block size for files is about 1 MB, so even if the file is smaller it occupies as much room as a 1 MB file. Just imagining how much space my own bookshelf would occupy would get me angry mails by the admins about responsible usage of resources :)

@samcarter_is_at_topanswers.xyz and it requires to write a file with a command for every bib-entry -- as if one couldn't get this with \nocite or \cite ;-(. The idea is nice but there is clearly place for improvements.
