Did you do anything else that obviates that? I'd really like for Christopher Pisz to be able to understand my intentions, and my apologies for anything miscommunicated.
Put it differently: deleting the room gives Pisz an excuse to keep believing his abusive behaviour was ok. Because he has deniability that "he couldn't have read" (of course the messages were ~2d old already).

I don't really think continuing to discuss it would be productive. I spoke with the user, so there is no risk they'll continue to think abusive behavior is OK.
Frankly, this is just someone throwing a fit about downvotes, which we get a lot. There's nothing ever gained from these types of discussions, which is the whole reason why downvotes are anonymous in the first place.
The other user continues to complain that you have been "harassing" him, but I looked through his history, and I can't find any evidence of that whatsoever. You only interacted on one of his recent questions, where you provided an answer, and there was not only nothing even remotely acrimonious, but not even any downvotes (not that downvoting would have been bad, of course).
So I don't know what he's talking about, or why he thinks he has a bone to pick with you, but it's all unfounded as far as I can tell, so you might as well just move on with your life and find something more productive to occupy your time.
