@JonClements Was it REALLY that bad? This is my morning, and it's usually dying for the day when I enter.

Anyway guys - Brad wasn't overstating things. We've had to look into this room more than once recently and some of it has been horrendous... So... what you ROs need to do is make sure if stuff that could possibly be flagged/construed as rude etc... is flagged appropriately or warn and kick

I don't scroll into history very often

CF Normal flags go to 10k users, mod flags go to moderators. Mod flags are used for special cases, not just average spam or offsensive. I guess mod flags can be used when there's context a normal flag can't handle

@TheLittleNaruto you don't need to know if they got flagged or not - if you see something that's against the "be nice" policy you either warn and kick the user or you flag it yourself...

@LunarWatcher potentially... as long as you're seen to be trying to de-escalate or manage a situation that drew our attention here in the first place... otherwise it looks like you're being complicit in letting it happen and then there's no point keeping the room around if it's not going to be useful/managed properly

BTW do visit our room as normal user, we would like to have some mod as our regular users 😀

Also - don't forget there are trash bins which you can move messages to, to get them from your main transcript and made the room presentable...

There is that - but users can't "delete" other users' messages - that's only for your own messages and only if they're less than 2 minutes old
