Im using it with my router (html page). I need to test something and to do some clicking . but the page doesnt have jQuery . so I inject jQuery to the main page. and then create the same page within an iframe. It works with $("<iframe>") but it doesnt work with $("<iframe>").

at the end it's something like :

$("<iframe>").attr('src',"http://192.168.1.1/RgSetup.asp").css('width','100%').css('height','400px').appendTo("body");

But my question is when should I use $("<iframe>") VS $("<iframe/>")

@RoyiNamir as long as you're aware of all the issues using an iframe will cause across different browsers.

//I'd use:
var iframe = document.createElement("iframe");
iframe.src = "...";
iframe.style = "width: 100%; height: 400px;";
document.body.appendChild(iframe);
