I once implemented a simple addition/subtraction captcha, it was awful!

yeah, for instance, you have a database with multiple tables, and other stuff to store records, but you want only some information from that huge database, but that includes data from many other tables, here comes VIEWS, with them, you generate a virtual table, with items from different tables

so it is like, making a new table with say, your account_number from one table, your address from other table, phone number from other, etc.

Normally view cannot store the data permanently in the table. When we create the view it stores the view definition schema as object under the concern database.

Backend fascinates me, but I lack the will to ever learn it.

@mikedidthis yeah, db is pretty cool, especially when done in LINQ, but it is the same as maths when I am concerned, my brain goes AWOL.

I have in my database, a calendar table where I save my dates with a start- and end-date + time

now I need to fetch how many half-days are inbetween the start and end date

but, the catch is that it aren't normal half-days

has to be half-days of 8-13h, 14-18h or 19-23h

T.T there are so many flaws in this calendar, I wanna give up!
