I have a friend living in the Netherlands, looking for a biology job. She's finishing her Msc2, and having quite a lot of trouble finding a position. She doesn't speak Dutch but has fluent English

Would you have any tips for her? It's been months now and she's stuck with crappy jobs to pay some bills

To state the obvious: learn Dutch. It's actually quite useful to know it, since the government is legally not allowed to communicate in any other language.

Otherwise as to biology specifically, I'm afraid not, outside my area of expertise. Generally, at least for anyone calling themselves "engineer" there are recruitment agencies who help you to find a job. Normally they take 10-20% of your first year salary as a fee, then you're free to do whatever.

It's like an employment agency, but explicitly for higher educated engineers. A biologist might fit in there as well

Do you happen to know any that has a focus on scientific / biology topics?

@Kyll no, sorry. I only know the ones for general engineers, as that's what my friends did. I just applied to unis for PhD positions
