@user1271772 Well argued :-) You may want to mention documentation. Matlab's is so much better than other languages'. I doubt Julia for example (as some commented below your answer) has such good documentation

@user1271772 I think you missed a multiplication in your first code block; your first alphakron should be alpha*kron, judging the rest of the answer
