@PoGibas I believe the process is that you submit with the new name and request the package with the old name to be archived. I would combine this with a package update.

am i right in suspecting machine learning is behind people being told to use such weird and wasteful data structures as this? stackoverflow.com/questions/55303994 taking n values and needlessly duplicating out to n^2...

(that's what it usually is when people are breaking down a categorical variable into countless dummies, i guess)
