Sometimes i find old posts and Id like to call a users attention to something new or just ask for a followup. How can I invite a user to chat? Ive clicked on the chat link and I can create a room but Im unable to invite a particular user.

@Sotos well, there's working through the vignettes (included with the package or available online), also, there's my tutorial (linked in my profile, "Tables" chapter), but it might be better as a reference than for learning ... pretty much the on-load message has it all:

i started with the FAQ and some slides (back before there were vignettes, i think)

@Sotos Frank was faster :-). I found the stuff under github.com/Rdatatable/data.table/wiki/Getting-started very useful. FAQ helped me a lot, but the vignettes are a good read as well.

And I often consult ?data.table

@UweBlock FAQ there is out of date, so i'd suggest vignette("datatable-faq") instead for now
