What is sock account

anky suspects that the asker and answerer are the same person with two users

Mods have the tools to investigate and to handle, as users we can only raise a flag to let them know of potential fraudulent activities.

@anky That is a brave attempt. How did you come to the conclusion?

Ah, perhaps you got confused with the comments? I think the answerer saw some mistake and bluntly edited the question to fix it.

User A posted the question, Anky pointed out an error in the question, User B replied saying effectively "sorry, I made a mistake when I wrote the question. I'll fix it"

Thanks AD. @CoolCloud First, I did not come to any conclusion. I am just suspecting. If you see my comment and the reply to that, it leads me to think that it is a sock. Though I can understand why it is debatable

He wouldn't apologize unless it was his fault

I'm sure the mods will do their due diligence and avoid taking unnecessary action if User B is simply unusually apologetic
