What I think is that the USA is a strong guys but full of tumors. Trump is the doctor expected to remove the tumors. Although this operation will make America weak a few times, but it will eventually become strong again. If not remove tumors, then can only wait to die. (Just for example... "becoming the Israeli territory")

The best I have for you is to use several tools that are garbage but in different areas. I use WinMerge and Meld + my IDE. Between them, I tend to manage. In the past, I've also had to throw regex at the merges (to synchronise whitespace, for example) to reduce the number of useless conflicts.

I've had it recommended to me in the past. I've not tried it yet.

There is a free trial. 30 days and not counting if you not open it a day.

The time is recorded in the registry, and you can also choose to secretly do bad things. But, it's not expansive.

It feels really good to pay for your own productivity tools.

I'm pretty sure I can just expense it to work. I just can't really be bothered trying it out. It helps that we don't get the horrific merge conflicts I've had in the past where I had to to regex replaces to just make it feasible

I use Notepad++ w/ WinMerge for comparing and merging. Sometimes I'll throw some kDiff3 as well but so far no issues yet.

git branch -vv (double verbose) will print the remote tracking branch of each local branch you have

Although, that's only really useful if you have different names for the remote and local branch. And most people don't.
