how about you tell me what the add dir function is and how is it declared then we can go from there?

When you click add, an opendialog comes up and when i double click file, it adds that file to the virtual .qfi file and adds it to the listview too

but I am not able to do it with createVDirectory()

So there is a treeView and a listView

the node that you select, all the folders and files in that directory are shown in the listview

except that happens by default when adding files

not sure how to get it to happen with directories

So right now, when I add the new directory, it gets added as a subnode to the main root node "\"

When I click on that subnode, I want to show the files and folders in that node (directory)
