haha, must say I think without something new like quantique computer I don't think this is possible. Yes, we can program thing that do amazing thing, like art by "IA" but, they just use preexisting art. Coding is also an art, coding a program to do one specific thing is not something a "IA" can do today, if copy paste code was enough to code we would be paid way less ^^

With a new technology that would completely break the situation, like quantique computer, maybe we could simulate a real IA ? But that not for today and I think will not happen in my life time, AND I'M ONLY 30 !

@Stargateur TBH I made other tests in which chatgpt revealed itself to be already almost useful. Those things will change our job.

(yes it missed the missing mut, but that's very reasonable and proves a good analysis ability)

If the tool is smart enough to guess the context (it's almost there) and can, in the background, run all linters, compilers, and the test units it can automatically infer, then it will probably find many bugs or suboptimal codes as we write them

TBH culture is a big part of what makes experienced programmers good, and those AI excel at managing culture
