@Shepmaster I see the Monaco editor is now proposed in the playground. Any plan for having a vim keybinding for this editor too ?

@DenysSéguret I think the asus with the Ryzen 9 may be the best of those 3. But I can say I've been pretty happy with MSI - this and my previous laptop have been MSIs. Thought I think the i9 is worth it, if you can find a model with it at a similar price point

I also liked Asus in the past, but 10 years ago I had one of their laptops overheat itself to death while in use. Probably a fluke, but shrug

My last laptop lasted something like 5 or 6 years, and I was not gentle with it. A friend of mine bought his MSI before I bought mine, and it lasted a couple additional years because he took care of it

AMD's Ryzen series is really, really good right now. But the intel core line are still also good.

I have a previous-gen i9 in this, bought last year

(10985H, I think?)

@DenysSéguret a 3000€ portable is useless, too much heat so you will never use the true power of it

for a MSI you WANT something with "Cooler Boost 5" it's what make all msi laptop beat every other one

The heat generation with such devices as @Stargateur also mentioned can be quite intense, although perhaps things have improved?

for ref a collegue get ldlc-pro.com/fiche/PB00454708.html very happy with it and BTW ldlc-pro == no tva since you have a enterprise you can use it to buy pro stuff
