I picked up a small one a week ago to try to overcome it and it felt like every neuron in my brain was firing.

@Jason the worst kind I get a fast and big one ! I love spider OUTSIDE MY HOME. I keep repeat "small beast don't eat big one" searching for it. It takes all my bravery.

@Stargateur I don't know how bad it is for you, but have you also thought about getting help with your fear of spiders? It's a genuine phobia on my end.
