@Jason Well, there's nothing anyone could've done about it: I did not break any of the rules of SO, in fact, my comment was relevant and helped the OP as the closing comment of a longer conversation. It did not contain anything that should be avoided on SO, stayed on topic, it was short, polite, and self-contained, etc. It was a classic example of abused power.

@PeterVaro imagine that, on Quora the person writing an answer can delete all your comments as they want, without any kind of reason or whatevs.
