Q: MYSQL Range criteria is applied only for indexed columns

Why don't you want to index that column? How do you expect that query to run efficiently without an index on that column?
@TehShrike I edited my question and put the SHOW CREATE Table output in it . Giving range between two date periods in a timestamp column not executed as range query . It scanned whole table . I want to execute my query as range .
@bharathi You need to add an index to that timestamp column
@TehShrike without indexing it's not possible ? . Because , My product is in production indexing a large table will take more time and also consider the master , slave setup what happens if indexing failures . Can any other solutions makes it possible?
No - that is exactly what indexing is meant to do. That is the only way to do this without hacking together something that would take even longer to build and result in even more downtime.
However
The quickest way for you to do this might be:
1. Read lock the table
2. Create a new table with exactly the same structure as that table, except make it have the index that you need
3. Insert all the rows from the original table into the new table with the improved schema
4. In one rename query, swap the old table and the new table
Actually, since you're not using an auto_increment column, you might want to just create the new table, swap the two tables, and then insert all the rows from the old table into the new table
