@all hi friends i am facing problem in converting drawable to bitmap please help me i am using svg images

@jeet I am sending details to be stored in a database using a web service using KSOAP.There is nothing wrong with the web service it works fine. This code worked when i didn't use a AsyncTask class. Now im using a Async Class i dont get any errors but none of the toasts are displayed... my code ----> pastie.org/4235674

@Sindu_ are you sure the operation in doInBackground is being completed

@Sindu_ you should never compare 2 strings by ==. It will compare it's reference not the value inside it. So even if both strings have same value the condition result will be false. Always use .equals for comparing 2 string. And before doing it do check for null.

@adrian you can try setting default values for other columns. Not sure sqlite supports default value for columns. But if it supports then you can provide default values for remaining columns and while inserting just provide value for some columns and other will be populated with assigned default value :-/

i think you need to define fix height

as your image height is 55

you need to set 55dp

say if you View is of height 50 and your image is of height 40, then for rest of the 10 px it will repeat the last bit of your image.
