@HostileFork forget about the the assertion failure, it was because the cargo test runs the test in multiple threads by default, once I limited it to a single thread, it worked fine.

@iArnold That's about how many people showed (though not necessarily the people on the meetup site, some people sign up and forget...and some people come without signing up). That's why I was always a stickler about attendance when I ran the Austin C/C++ Meetup, wanted the historical record to be accurate!

@ShixinZeng It looks like Rust has variadic macros... so at minimum, the Rust binding could presumably use that to not need the rebEnds at the callsites. Maybe they could be used to get the "as *const c_void"s in there too? Would be interesting...
