@TylerH no it seems not related, the issue is with background-clip text combined with transform. I am surprised that the code works on Firefox because I think it should not. The correct behavior IMO is the one of chrome

i am trying to use this

and it doesn't seem like it download as expected, instead it opens the file in the browser tab

any ideas, how i can have the pdf file gets downloaded on click?

I see your code now, I think you have to have ="" after it, it can't just be the naked attribute

no, i think the issue is the same origin issue..

but i am trying to find a way around that.. any ideas?
