Well yeah the picture cuts off the top and bottom of the outer elements but the images are vertically centered.

Basically, something is awkward with the bootstrap responsive grid

It's just absurd to me that an elected moderator would behave so adversarial toward a user just for posting a discussion suggestion on Meta

It seems like there were allegedly a user or two in chat (I'm guessing) who were 'curious how I came to be posting about 3k+ rep features as a ~100 rep users'

and Darth seems to have taken up their question as some claim of honor where the predetermined outcome is that I have some ulterior motive for trying to improve the site

In my not so humble opinion, Darth's words and actions were inappropriate from the get-go all the way through. As a moderator he should first and foremost seek to defuse such situations, not stay hard and fast to some offensive line of questioning, especially in comments.

It depends on where it happens and what the issue is. In this case I commented on another mod's post so that they would be pinged of the issue (the post was in the thread where the discussion occurred; I didn't just find some random mod post). I also flagged the mod's insulting comment as offensive, but he could have easily cleared that if he were paying attention to the queue or to the page, dunno if he did or not

Sometimes I ping employees on Twitter, but that's pretty rare; I feel like I'm harassing them a bit if I do it too often. One example was when I had a meta feature-request (very small) that had 200+ upvotes and no dev response in over a year.

other times I might go to Tavern on the Meta because there's almost always a CM there

but I don't think I've ever emailed staff except for when I wanted a post disassociated from my account

certain CMs go to the SciFi.SE general chatroom often

others avoid site specific chats like the plague, etc.

At any rate I think this is a case of a young, inexperienced mod in an insular community; he doesn't seem to have any exposure to the network as a whole, or even a single other site, so he doesn't have the benefit of perspective.

I'm kind of disappointed in Seven Lions' new album. He was my favorite EDM producer because of his creativity but this one seems a lot more generic than usual. Only a few touches of his real flavor and ingenuity in this one to me

It really depends what genres of music you like best/what mood you're in. Maybe my favorites are The Fall, Nepenthe, his remix of Beautiful (mostly because I loved the original as a kid), his remix of On My Way to Heaven, or Serpents of Old, but it's so hard to decide
