Hi all

can anyone tell me what is the default resolutions for smartphone, tablet, small desktop, large desktop

I have got some statistics like 480x480(smartphone), 650x481(tablet), 1050x651(small desktop), 1290x1051(large desktop)

but don't know its correct or not

@AlexMan now a days mobile have 720p and 1080p and desktop have 4k display

A question: I have a div with position:relative, with jquery-ui's Draggable and Resizable. Inside it there's an img (different sizes, and can be replaced). For some reason, the div's width is around 1200px, even though it's not specified anywhere, instead of ~300 like the img inside.

it's impossible to answer that without context

but div is a block-level by default and takes the full 100% width of its parent

Hmm. It'll be hard to recreate the whole context.

Basically, it's a studio-like environment, where users drag elements onto a canvas.

The canvas is a div, and the elements are snippets of HTML.

so can you just put a width on the div?

or do you want it to shrink to fit?

The user can replace the img inside it, so I don't know the size in advance.

try giving the div a display: inline-block

Yeah, something like that.

If I simply not have the div and just throw the img in then the resize works fine, because jquery-ui adds a div automatically around it, but then Draggable fails, because it only drags the img inside its container div.

without recreating the problem to fiddle with I'm going to say this needs some javascript

to always keep the image the size of the div you just need to give it a width and height of 100% (plus maybe some additional rules but not much)

Well, there's already over 2000 lines of js code, so I guess so.

then on image load/change you'll need to check once what its original dimensions are, and apply that to the div

I assume that jquery resize will set inline height and width on the div when you resize it?

I was hoping for a declarative approach, but I think your recommendation is the only feasible one.

there might be better ways but again, I'd need to see the full context. Doesn't sound like an easy one (if at all possible) with just css though

__import.php can either contain requires or spl_autoload_register(function($class){ ... });

As of now there is no real way of autoloading functions in php

Nope. Not really. There is nothing wrong by telling people to do require_once '/path/to/your/lib/bootstrap.php';. We have done it for ages

Anyone who could help me out quickly with this small issue? jsfiddle.net/zy23gsx9/1 (In the drop-down menu, the items get cut off at the bottom, making "j"'s look like "i"'s etc.) Note: I'm pretty bad at CSS, so I got it off a CSS generator, but now I can't figure out where to fix this issue

@PeeHaa I do, the height for either the <li> or the <a> elements in the sub-menu are too small to fit the 2 lines of text, however I've tried editing both in my CSS & just won't get anywhere near fixing it.

I've managed to fix it so far by manually editing the <li> elements, however I can't figure out how to make those same changes in my CSS code.
