Having seen you posting several questions, I am begin to get curious of your data. Would you share a link to your preprint, etc, once you've done writing?

That's still interesting. So you keep measuring your own data? What are you trying to investigate?

This was actually just a random project I started for myself when I started my PhD. At first it was to learn about R (having data I "knew" was easier to learn in my opinion). Then it became a bit of an inference and testing tool...if for example I wanted to use LMER on my own data, I would find what the pros and cons of that method would be rather than some data that is "typical" of LMER fitting. Right now my goal is to map out my four years of PhD work and see how my habits are consistent or change with time. It has taught me a lot about longitudinal data actually (and my coffee cravings).

Of course there are obvious pitfalls with doing this. Its not truly experimental and has to be used with caution, but it at least gives me something to use for understanding data and R better.

Oh wow that's really cool. I hope to one day do the same, though I'm not entirely sure yet where I'll be. My hope is to stay in Hong Kong or Mainland China, but I'm open to wherever.

Yeah, keep going! Well, I did my PhD in UK. So for my academic visit, I did not choose Europe.

I will be back in China in 5 months or so.
