Now calling that function like:

db.write(data, doc)

```

I call that function like this:
db.write(data, doc)
.then((res) => {
console.log(res); // undefined!
});

so I have an api file (granted I haven't tested it yet in this application but am going off prior issues) and I plan to import the function from my api file into a method to resolve an ajax request for a logged user (this function is in the component's class):
