I found it quite crazy that just opening a 500KB file in the GitHub web interface (in Chrome on Ubuntu 16.04) makes the RAM usage go up by gigabytes !!!

@tripleee @toonarmycaptain How about a question which is only about the GitHub web interface, for example in the above screenshot I opened a PDF in GitHub that was only 578KB in size but my RAM usage went up by gigabytes. I suppose this would be off-topic on SO and only allowed on here webapps.stackexchange.com ?
