Bad Stack Overflow Reviews

^^^ The edit should have been rejected because it "Clearly conflicts with the author's intent" by removing required logic to only append a "d" to words ending in "e". One reviewer correctly rejected the edit, two others approved. In addition the edit turned the answer into a copy of the editor's own answer, which was odd, but they're a new user and probably just didn't know the rules.

For now, please focus on only reporting completed Triage reviews in the past 7 days, with at least one vote for "Requires Editing", and the question has at least one close vote (or is already closed). Also avoid reporting reviews where where I have closed the question.

@pppery As "he-who-recommended-coming-here," it is I who should accept responsibility. However, do please read the title and subtitle of the room (screen top-right, normally).

And, without wishing to speak for Samuel (he's well able to that on his own), I would also note the words "for now" and "focus" in the post you cited (which is a good few months old).

I imagine the focus in triage reviews is because one can find several users reviewing wrong in one go. I've posted late answers and first posts here too. I wasn't told off, but of course that can still happen :)

@pppery I would not normally add my 2 cents. But I think you did well in reporting that edit. If it works out, or not, is another matter.

@pppery the most general guideline is:"When in doubt flag (or report)." So there's nothing wrong, mods will appraise or disregard at their discretion. Bringing such cases up is playing on the safe side.

@AdrianMole I think Samuel appreciates the occasional off-topic chat in his room (and this was actually about reviewing, so it's on-topic). I've been a regular here and the room is pretty liberal, I like it.
