(Assuming that these images are compiled to assembly1 and you want to load them from another Project2)

Does this approach work out for you

- Number of images of your project are stored as embedded resources in Assembly1
- In Project2, You extract these images embedded in assembly1(If they have not been
loaded before)
- Now that the images are extracted from assembly 1, you reference them in your project2

What do you think ?

Actually it is all within the same assembly. Does that make much difference though? I think the proposed resource dictionary objects could load their sources from any assembly.

right, I was thinking we are talking about dynamically extracting the embedded resource of assembly 1 from assembly 2. And dynamically consuming these extracted resources in assembly 2
but I think your requirements are different
