my thinking was that select loc3 and 2018, it should show year=0 data, since '2018' would include '2018' and '0' (and there's no 2018 data, so only '0' is left...)?

The current issue is that when I select "Loc3" and year 2019, which is not present in the datafram.It shud show "No data available". When "No Use" is selected it shud show the data for the year "0"

@Ben First I was thinking of same, then I realise that when user selects "No Use" option then it shud only show Year=0 data. However, when user selects 2018 it should show 0 and 2018. For 2019 it shud have 2019,2018 and 0 year data

hmmm - that sounds different...

so if you select 'Loc3" and year '2019' I thought it would include '2019', '2018' and 0. But maybe if there is no '2019' data, you don't want to look further for '2018' and '0'?

and instead just say: something like "no data available for selected year, so I'm not showing any additional data either"?

so maybe just for now, we could do a check to see if data available for the selected year...then: (1) if there is data for the selected year, show that year's data, and previous years data; (2) if there isn't data for the selected year, then you get no data

ONLY for selected year.For example, Loc 2, when 2018 is selected it says "No Data available",when "2019" is selectd it shows data for 2019 .Since,
