@HadiBrais I have just one question I still don't fully understand, not that much about papi initialization so I will ask here. When I create an array, and first time loop over to give values to each element, entire page is brought to cache for zeroing and it gets hits. this is ok. then each element gets new value. But why is each element evicted from caches? not related to papi init, as even if I have it before first loop this is the bahavior I saw.

So even cache is big enough after first loop and initialization, each cache line that contained this arrays element is evicted. Is this common behavior? I don't see why it's necessary though. why evict cache line without good enough reason.
