so, what info can i give you?
i tried to remove android.enableAapt2=false but the long error appeared again. Android Studio said it was deprecated but I think I still need it

File->setting->build,execution->compiler
set command line option : --stacktrace
and analyze the stacktrace you will find your error that is basically the coding issue the gradle issue is resolved here now you just need to debug a little and find where is the error

i haven't
still not working. the app got another module named sherlok. i already put implementation 'com.android.support:support-annotations:28.0.0'
implementation 'com.android.support:support-v4:23.4.0' on it and the error is still there

it's ok. thanks a lot. but i think it's working already, with other errors popping up.
there's this xml file named abs_attrs. inside it is a <declare-styleable name="SherlockSpinner"> which i think contains some settings for a thing called SherlockSpinner. the stacktrace says that SherlockSpinner sets a value that can't be found. after removing it, the error changed.
can you help me with the other errors.
