Are you targeting the text decoration mentioned?

How does that work with page refreshes?

It's slightly slow because it uses an injected script to remove it. But it's a blink with underlines before it disappears

So, it only works for you but sets the page back to its usual view?

Injects into where? Into an existing script?

@QHarr There's a browser add-on that adds it to all the sites matching a regex. It adds the script to a <script> tag, and the script adds a style rule that's very simply a { text-decoration: none; }

@JoeFriend My impression right now is that a lot of folks are . . . not hugely happy with some of the site themes, and there's been controversy over some other recent changes. With the general mood of frustration at what some people see as a lack of communication, even stuff that might seem minor is becoming important.

What I think people are looking for is for SE to be as open and explicit as possible, even about stuff like this. It's a good way for everyone to build trust in the process. – HDE 226868 yesterday
