@Wildcard rep is unimportant here. My point is simple. Air ticket already paid, why'd a company take efforts to claim the money back? Air ticket is not expensive! Something nasty must have happened. Travelling agreement is only valid if the arrangement is reasonable etc. Legally, it's ok to cancel a verbal agreement if it should never should have happened in the first place. @devouredelysium So you do agree that it could make a difference. The rest of your comment is a bit inappropriate; I could say Europeans are "free" to receive healthcare while Americans are "free" to die because they are too poor to afford surgery - so maybe let's keep propaganda terms/weasel words like "freedom" out of this. "unhealthy obsession" - citation needed, "makes its preachers look like crackpots in the verge of paranoia" - citation needed, and upvotes only show what a number of people who stumbled over the post want to hear. Those things don't contradict one another. An unemployment rate of 1% would be quite low, but if you have enough jobs for 99% of people, that would leave the "worst" 1% of people unemployed no matter how many jobs they apply to (it's a lot more complicated than that in real life, but the basic idea applies). — Dukeling 21 mins ago
