Can you prevent a scheduled local notification for showing?

I have a daily notification scheduled but in some cases i don't want to show the daily notification

@PushpinderN. There are also 3rd party classes that offer alert view looking alerts with a lot more customization options, plus support from iOS 7 on. I'm using one called SDCAlertView in a current project. It has an API quite similar to UIAlertController (with actions that take blocks) but allows you to customize the interface. You should take a look at it or something similar
