is there a way to perform a healthcheck between 2 java process (application)

something like is other java application still running thing..

Can somebody point me at a tutorial for running an external exe in intellij and debugging it within intellij? The build is rather complicated and long and I end up with a wrapping exe that I need to debug, and I can't seem to find the answer to my question online. Currently I'm poking around in "Run/Debug Configurations" but don't know what the "Main class" field would be.

@icecub Did you use list instead of item in the loop? :)

@MillieSmith I don't think it's easily doable, unless the .exe file accepts parameters that are then passed to the JVM

@MadaraUchiha Thanks for your reply. It does accept parameters. I'm passing a config file location and a log level. I ended up using "attach to process" since I have a window of a few seconds before it gets to the part I want to debug.
