How to find length of integer value without converting it on string, for example int i=123; i want to find length of it without converting it to string

i'm adding in the following way myarray.add(getIntent().getStringExtra("TEXT1"),getIntent().getIntExtra( "IMAGE", R.drawable.defaultimage)))); but before adding when i'm entering into the first time to my listview it is adding that default image to the list.
I just found where the problem was.
Do not use API Level of 20 and Platform 4.4W, as Android Virtual Device.
With Level 19 and Platform 4.2.2 set on ADV everything runs as it should.
I have updated to ADT 23 and SDK manager with Android L (API 20 L preview), but I am not getting the "Android L" in the target list.
Done restarting the Eclipse many times. doesn't work. Some one please tell me what I am doing wrong.

@Pari pari u want .dat file of an object ..? I understand that want to convert .jpeg to .DAT ..but dint get ur point "that can be used to detect object"
if u just want .DAT ... .DAT is just a data file ..u can get it in to a NSDATA object
@AKSH for that i need .dat file which is combinations of may other files with jpeg file of my logo this is going to help me in detecting my logo while scanning
@Pari hmmm .. cant say ....actulay ..this realy typical one ....I would suggest to go in deep with .DAT file in iOS.. .DAT is nothing but just a data file ....so...chk it if it is possible to convert it or not ...I m looking into it ...will tell u as soon as I get something ...sryy :(
