help me with this issue

i build an app with react native

and getting bundler error

unable to load script from assets 'index.android.bundle'. make sure your bundle is packaged correctly or you're running a packager server.

this is my first app

now i get this while running react-native start

which version of react native are you using?

use yarn

the later versions have issues with libaries/dependencies versions if youre using npm

ok how to add libraries

you need to install yarn

yarn add "libary name"

so you'll need a networking library to communicate with the server for instance

axios, requeset, got, etc.

yarn add axios

if you use npm install axios, big chance itll fail bundling due to versioning

yarn is a safe bet when using facebook related libaries and tech together

axios is very uncertain

saves you a lot of time

i doubt he can implement relay + graphql

which is the recommended networking tools for react native apps

axios is something like yarn and npm or is the another thing

axios is a networking tool, like request

use the tools you need to get the job done

has anyone used typescript with react?

i request more than 15 web call using axios spread .. sometimes it fail in middle of executing webservice

so now i feel its useless

but itll use yarn instead of npm

npm provides wide verity of libs

it wont make a difference; but i find yarn more useful for installing dependencies

automatically or i should have to tell it

just make sure you clean out your yarn cache

i ran into a lot of version bugs when i used npm and react together

but none when i used yarn and react/react-native

i use npm whenever i deal with non react related projects

what does matters is how much ram your device has

since youre running ios simulator

atom sucks

i used atom and then switched to visual studio code

it really doesnt matter

deco is looks good for mac

nice feature upcoming in deco

imo, react navigation is THE best library for react native

you can easily build any ui screen with easy navigation

my chrome debugger is very slow

i find out how to improve it it

how much ram does your device have?

seems like a ram issue

axios web call is performance downgraded

few days back it working charm

chrome eats up your ram and running a mobile simulator eats a lot more

navigation and app working good ..but if i call webCall it degraded

Chrome also sucks :D

i restarts my mac

i have 8 gb, but its not enough when i run both android and ios simulators

i restart chrome, restart xcode, restart simulator, restart packager

but result same

i have too 8 GB RAM

how many chrome tabs is running?

and it's a bit confusing

what kind of network calls are you making?

is it data driven?

because graphql + relay is usually the way to go for react native apps

i'm using simple HTTP request and save data in Realm

oh, then graphql+relay is overkill

i worked at a shitty payment app built on react native for a little bit; that's where i picked up react native and have been using it since then
