Hi im a new developer Im currently tasked with implementing an EMS(web Application) im using my comfort language & DB provider :Java EE( or maybe Jakarta EE now) with MySQL :
My question is when is it suitable to make a stored procedure when its not? (I think making a stored procedure for even `select * from table ;` is not a wise decision as the no of columns is 16) also is calling a query directly using jdbc is susceptible to SQL injection attack always & stored procedures & functions only work around?

However, when I click on the arrow as you can see below, the arrow is not working. When I click on it, the drop down list is not showing.
