@StephenKennedy yeah. some users even unlock it "randomly" by answering a question that gets a ton of upvotes. It's really weird how an i.e. 50 day old account (maxing the rep limit daily) can unlock deletion privileges by posting something good, but someone who has been a member for 7 years doesn't.
@BhargavRao I wish you said that a bit earlier, I've already posted it on meta, meta.se, twitter, and gotten an article in the three biggest newspapers on the internet!
