Which parens would you highlight in the expression (()()) when the cursor is in the middle between the two empty lists?

It would "touch" the one on its left side, I think .

cursor sticks to the left :P

Sublime Text highlights the right empty list.

Clopad highlights the outer parens, because the cursor is in neither empty list.

That choice is probably highly controversial :)

@Borgleader But because it doesn't execute out-of-order, it prevents reordering of the instructions around it. So it affects the performance of the thing that you're measuring. :D
