How do I know if it's the same content displayed on everyone's screen.
I mean ... not giving anyone any ideas ... but there are customized ads, what if somedays, there is an A.I. chatbot that outputs different content to different users based on their past messages?

What/s the general strategy to explain to somebody non-technical that its not possible to stop midway though refactoring because 1) code doesn't build 2) most tests fail
 
Tell the person it's like rebuild a house. Before it's completed, it's most likely not habitable.

GCC now implements pack expansion in lambda init-capture, destroying operator delete and lambdas in unevaluated context
Looks like someone pushed the patches just before GCC9 was closed to new features x)
Ooooh, and maybe they will finally fix the bug where this can't apepar in noexcept ç_ç

but the AVX2 clock did move up ever so slightly (not enough to matter)

Then beam it into the depleted U238 in short bursts.
The U238 will capture neutrons from your 20% U235 reactor. And beta-decay twice into P239.
 
Actually no, so you can buy a gram for $30, so buying 760 kg is about $22,000,000. YET, if you build the bomb you can threaten somebody for at least $1,000,000,000. Nice 45x return-on-interest.
 
Each U235 atom will give you 3 neutrons. So assuming 100% efficiency on refining (which you're not gonna get), you can get 3x as much nuke out of Uranium ore in P239 bombs than U235 bombs.
Though I'd need to look up what the critical masses for each are.
And that will depend on the P240 concentration in the P239 core.
That said, any? self-sustaining neutron source can be used to turn U238 into P239.
So if you don't have enough U235, you can use some of the P239 you already made to produce more neutrons and hence more P239.

@Mikhail If you wanted to build a bomb, it would almost certainly be more economical to buy some land (e.g., in Wyoming) and dig it up yourself. Unfortunately, purifying the Uranium out of the ore is somewhat nontrivial. Enriching it is even less trivial--during the second world war, when Oak Ridge national lab was doing it, they were (by a wide margin) the single largest consumer of electricity in the entire country. It used about 20% more electricity than New York City.
So, building a functional bomb would cost quite a bit more than just the cost of the ore.

I've been stuck on this bug for like 3 hours. Basically, on one of my tests when resizing a thrust device_vector I get an error that corresponds to a thread launch failure. But the resize size and device vector appear perfectly reasonable. Also I've synchronized the GPU (twice) before running the command, so the error should be isolated to the thrust resize command.
Sometimes this junk is memory fragmentation, but in this case its too reproducible.
 
Goddammit. I upgraded my compilers over the weekend. And today MS releases VS 15.9.
15.9 fixes the last blocking AVX512 bug for me.
 
There are way too much free energy we are not harvesting on the face of earth. Bush/forest fire for example. Only if there is a way to capture it, and in the process deprive fire of fuel.

@thecoshman More like cover the path with frozen turkeys covered in sanitized mud. By the time fire reaches the place, it will be damped by the frozen turkey. Then turkey is cooked and can be resold at other places as forest fire cooked turkeys. That's the theory, although frozen turkey in sanitized mud is probably not ideal in this situation.
